About Bro Wyxx

My name is Daisi Ayodele Samuel. Most people know me as Wyxx — pronounced "Wise."

I am a creator, but I have never been comfortable putting myself into just one box.

Where it started

I started my technology journey in 2009 while I was in JSS 3. In a small computer center in my village, I learned Microsoft Word and became fascinated by the websites I visited.

I kept asking myself one question: "Who built these?" That question changed the direction of my life.

By 2012, I was already experimenting with code on Wapka.mobi using a Nokia 6300. I eventually launched my first website, 9jaking.tk. I didn't have the resources or equipment that many developers had, but I had curiosity — and curiosity kept me building.

Structure before rebuilding

I later studied Architectural Technology at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo. Architecture taught me something that would become important throughout my career:

Study the structure before attempting to rebuild it.

That became my personal approach to technology and creativity. I learned to look at systems, break them down, understand how they work, and rebuild them in my own way.

The hard years

After school, life became less theoretical. I worked as a computer operator at Sammytech Computers for ₦6,000 a month. I learned barbing, DJ-ing, keyboard playing, and other skills simply because I needed to survive.

There were periods when even internet data had to be rationed. I remember having to manage 10MB of data for an entire day.

Those difficult years taught me something that formal education could not: skills become valuable when you can use them to solve real problems.

The ₦500 that changed everything

Between 2017 and 2020, I taught myself Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. My first commissioned artwork earned me ₦500.

That ₦500 meant more to me than the amount itself. It proved that something I had learned for fun could become a source of income.

I continued improving until I began working with Nigerian artists and entertainers, including Dotman, Mayorkun, Teni, Oritse Femi, and Mr. P. Eventually, my work reached clients outside Nigeria, and my income from individual projects grew significantly.

Music, blogging, and everything else

Music became another important part of my journey. I became a music producer, songwriter, and Gospel Drill vocalist. I learned to create instrumentals, write hooks, record vocals, and understand the challenges that musicians face when trying to build careers.

At the same time, I was experimenting with blogging, SEO, digital marketing, and online business.

What didn't work

Some experiments worked. Some failed badly.

I have lost accounts. I have had projects fail. I have experienced rejection from platforms and payment services. I have made mistakes that I would never repeat today.

I don't hide those experiences because they are part of my education.

Books, then AI

Eventually, I began turning what I had learned into books. I became a published author covering subjects such as blogging, SEO, digital marketing, and Photoshop.

Then AI changed the way I worked. I began developing sophisticated prompt systems and AI workflows for SEO, content creation, research, and digital production. That evolved into another area of expertise: prompt engineering and AI workflow architecture.

Why Craftdas exists

But I still wanted something bigger. I wanted to build the kind of platform I wished existed for creators like me. That became Craftdas.

Craftdas is deeply personal because its name comes from my own name: Craft + D.A.S. — Daisi Ayodele Samuel. I put my name on the platform because I wanted to build something I could stand behind.

Since 2025, I have been rebuilding Craftdas and teaching myself technologies that were completely unfamiliar to me. I have worked with:

  • Linux

  • PHP

  • Laravel

  • Python

  • JavaScript

  • Vite

  • Databases

  • Servers

  • Custom web architecture

There were times I deleted the project and started again. There were times I ran code I barely understood and crashed the entire system. I moved around looking for better working conditions, eventually returning to my village and building with solar power.

I am still building

That is perhaps the most important part of my story. I don't consider myself someone who has "made it." I consider myself someone who keeps learning, building, failing, rebuilding, and helping other people avoid mistakes I have already made.

My work now sits at the intersection of creativity and technology — design, music, writing, SEO, AI, programming, digital products, and entrepreneurship.

My goal is simple: take everything I learn from the journey and turn it into something useful for the next creator. Because I know what it feels like to start with almost nothing. And I know what it feels like when one skill, one idea, or one opportunity finally changes what you believe is possible.
